*"Making sense of your math placement score" Discussion session on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 10 AM to 10:45 AM in Science Center Hall B.
*Should I take Math 18,19,21,22,23,25, or 55: Meeting and discussion on Friday, August 30th from 11 AM - 1 pm in Science Center Hall D. (All questions will be answered)
* Sectioning: After the introductory meetings (see the schedule below), calculus is taught entirely in sections. To enroll in Math Ma, Math 1a, Math 1b, Math 21a, Math 21b, you must section by computer during the period starting Tuesday, September 3rd and no later than 4:15 pm on Wednesday, September 4th. Note that you can re-section as often as you like during this time and your previous entry will be erased. Your section assignment for Math Ma,1a,1b,21a,21b will be emailed to you the evening of Friday, September 6th by close of day.

From a Windows computer, open the SecureCRT application [Download from FAS], [Or use a 30 day evaluation copy], or the free tool "Putty". For SecureCRT, use the "Quickconnect" menu to open a connection with protocol
ssh2, hostname: ulam.fas.harvard.edu and username: section .
From a Macintosh with OS X start the "Terminal" application located under Applications/Utilities. At the shell prompt, type
"ssh section@ulam.fas.harvard.edu" and type return.
Using any Linux or Unix computer, login into your FAS account. At the shell prompt, type
"ssh section@ulam.fas.harvard.edu" and type return. (For Chrombook uses, it is easy too. One can there also install the secure shell.)
