Teaching Calculus Courses

Each semester there is a calculus orientation workshop which keeps you in the loop for the most recent advise and practices. Here is something from our institutional memory. It can be helpful for folks entering new into our teaching lineup:

A static version of an older Teaching fellows Wiki still can be a good starting point.

A preceptor Handbook was authored by the preceptor group during the years 2000-2004. It can be accessed here. Note that this document is old but it could still be useful.

An example from the past was the Torch and the fire hose Torch and Firehose (PDF), an entertaining, informative, cartoon illustrated guide to teaching at Harvard originally written at MIT.
